Wort Chiller - Counterflow Chiller (Tri-Clamp Fittings)

This Counterflow Chiller With Tri-Clover Fittings is an upgraded version of our always-popular Counterflow Wort Chiller that features wort inlet and outlets made of 1.5 inch tri-clover sanitary fittings. Although these tri-clover connections may seem a bit more confusing at first, they’re used in just about every commercial beer brewery because they’re much easier to clean than traditional threaded fittings.

On the water inlet and outlets, this Counterflow Chiller uses ¾ inch MPT and ¾ inch FPT garden hose fittings, just like the first model. The inner tube is made from 12 feet of 5/8-inch thick convoluted copper that continually spins the wort as it flows through, while the outer tube is made of 7/8 inch of high quality copper. Because of the convoluting nature of the pipes, you’re able to pump wort through without restricting the pump to slow down its flow. The result is a faster, more efficient cooling process and more sanitary parts throughout.
